Student Athletes - CAS

Center for Academic Success

Student Athlete
Success Program

Every semester, the program serves approximately 300 student-athletes from the 11 athletic programs here at Butte College.

Butte College's SASP department is housed in the Center for Academic Success (CAS). Student Athletes are encouraged to enroll in the EDUC 310 FREE course each semester. This allows our students to access our SASP director, study in the SASP room, tutorial support, and complete Critical Skills Workshops.

The goal is for these student athletes to internalize positive study habits that will result in a successful academic future while at Butte and after they transfer.
